Lotus Technical Services Calibration laboratory accredited to ISO/IEC17025:2005 by INAB

Leading provider of calibration for Process, Utilities and Laboratory equipment, Lotus Technical Services, has announced its recent accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005

This accreditation, recognised as the industry's top standard, assures the quality of Lotus Technical Services laboratory calibration services, processes, technicians, and data accuracy.

The standard requires Lotus Calibration Laboratory to establish and maintain a quality system on their calibration related activity. The Lotus Calibration Laboratory policies and procedures on training, calibration methods, quality assurance, reporting and measurement traceability was thoroughly assessed. As part of the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certification, Lotus Technical Services laboratory, based in Sligo, will undergo a stringent external audits by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) to ensure that their processes and equipment continue to meet the high quality levels necessary for this accreditation.

Lotus Technical Services strives for continuous improvement and has been certified to ISO9001 since 1999, a Quality Management System internationally recognised. Lotus’ achievement in gaining accreditation to this ISO 17025 standard allows the calibration Laboratory to provide an accredited calibration service for both Electrical and Temperature variables. Engineers, Quality Managers and Calibration Co-ordinators can be assured that Lotus Technical Services is performing calibration to the highest standard with this accreditation to ISO 17025:2005.
