EHQS Policy

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY QUALITY POLICY

LotusWorks designs, manufactures, installs and maintains electrical control panels for clients throughout Ireland. LotusWorks support local and multi-national clients with Engineering solutions for Commissioning, Maintenance and Manufacturing support projects.

It is the policy of LotusWorks to ensure effective EHSQ management throughout the entire organisation.

LotusWorks are committed to carrying our all work in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements related to occupational health and safety and our environmental aspects. We are committed to complying with other requirements particularly client requirements relevant to quality, health and safety and to our environmental aspects.

LotusWorks is committed to achieving continual improvement in the EHSQ system to preventing pollution wherever feasible by integrating safety and environmental considerations into our business.

The management of LotusWorks are committed to ensuring the design, the provision and maintenance of their plant/equipment in a condition that is, in so far as is reasonably practicable, safe and without risk to health or the environment. The management of LotusWorks also recognizes that it is their duty to provide systems of work that are planned, organized, performed and maintained, so as to be as far as is reasonably practicable, safe and without risk to health or the environment.

We aim to control, minimise and where possible eliminate risks to occupational health and safety particularly those concerned with electrical safety, use of equipment/machinery, pressurised gases, chemical handling, working at heights, lone working, confined spaces, manual handling and the working environment generally.

We are committed to the reduction of waste, the efficient use of energy and materials, the safe use and storage of hazardous materials, responsible management of hazardous wastes, minimisation of impacts associated with our products and company vehicles. We aim to encourage responsible environmental management practices among our supplier base also.

LotusWorks is committed to maintaining our business in order to satisfy customer's requirements. We acknowledge that our customers are the most important people in the business. We are committed to providing the highest standard of Products and Services in the most cost-effective manner. We are committed to continuous improvement in order to satisfy our customers.

LotusWorks will set and review EHSQ objectives and targets in relation to all identified significant hazards and identified significant environmental aspects on an annual basis. This policy statement will be reviewed on an annual basis to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to LotusWorks.

At induction stage, any new employees with disabilities will be requested to assist the EHS Officer to develop an individual plan: PEEP (Personal Emergency Egress Plan) to ensure required adaptations and accommodation is made for the individual allowing the employee to perform the job to the best of their ability while also ensuring their health & safety is assured while at work Contact the EHS Officer to complete a PEEP plan.
